About me

Dr. Debbie Cheshire

I’m Dr. Debbie Cheshire, a licensed clinical psychologist with 15+ years of experience as a therapist, as well as a certified 200-RYT yoga instructor.
In addition to my private clinical practice, I have a background in music therapy and education. I’ve worked as a psychologist in both a group practice setting and in a major teaching hospital in an integrated healthcare role, and have served as a supervisor for therapists in training. These opportunities have provided me with a wider perspective than a private practice alone.

I’ve worked extensively with clients ranging from preschool through adulthood with developmental disabilities including autism spectrum disorder and deafness and can communicate using conversational sign language.

I’m a Christian and am comfortable intertwining issues of faith within the space of psychotherapy when desired by my patient. I strive to do that in an open, accepting, and nonjudgmental manner.
