Private and Semi-Private Yoga Classes for Groups and Individuals

Movement heals.

Experience Calm.

Yoga can be a powerful tool to increase a sense of calm, body acceptance, and increase energy as it connects mind, body, and spirit.

I offer private yoga sessions as well as small group (3-4 people) classes to individuals looking to complement or enhance their therapy. I’m also able to offer yoga classes for specific groups and populations including those with anxiety/depression, body image struggles, and stress. Classes can be tailored to the unique needs of pastoral staff, caretakers, postpartum mothers, and more!

Contact me and let’s discuss your or your organization’s unique needs and goals.

Clear, peaceful mind. Sound, healthy body with Hatha, Vinyasa and Life Force Yoga.

Hatha and Vinyasa yoga differ in the pace and the goal of the specific practice.

Hatha yoga is designed to align and calm the mind, body, and spirit. It is the most widely practiced form of yoga in America and uses bodily postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation (dyana) with the goal of bringing about a sound, healthy body and a clear, peaceful mind.

Vinyasa is a type of yoga that links movement and breath to attain balance in the mind and body. From the Sanskrit “to place specially,” Vinyasa aligns a deliberate sequence of poses with the breath to achieve a continuous flow. Vinyasa classes often repeat a series of poses and often involve increasing body heat and building strength.

Life Force Yoga (LFY) is intentionally designed to work with anxiety and depression. It is trauma-sensitive and adapted for healthcare settings, mental health treatment, and yoga therapy. LFY blends ancient yoga practices with today’s evidence-based research. Using breath, movement, sound, and imagery, LifeForce Yoga teaches accessible tools that unlock healthier ways of living and enhance mood. Founded by Amy Weintraub in 2004, the practice works for all ages and abilities.
